25 February 2007

We ended up buying a crib for Grace and a bunk bed for Lydia (and Grace someday). So at least the girls will have their beds to sleep in right away and can adjust.

Today we went to church at Calvary Chapel. It is an international church but almost everyone there was Ugandan. The music was wonderful. They are very talented. The pastor was from America and gave a great message. Lydia wanted to go to Sunday school during church. All Ugandan children and Lydia. I am so proud of her. They watched a video, colored, had a story, and pained. I peeked in once and they were in a circle praying.

We were going to go swimming but it was raining lightly and was cool all day.

I decided there just isn't a way to compare Nigeria and Uganda so far – I guess it is comparing Abuja and Kampala. They are differences and similarities. Abuja is a smaller, nicer area with high prices. Kampala is an expanded area that has both the nice and normal mixed together. And Kampala is where the cheaper prices are.
