Shaarda Family

We are God's Beloved Children...

Josh & Mandy Shaarda: Our calling began in 2001 when we served in a remote village in Nigeria for four years. We have now been serving the Lord in Uganda since 2007. We live in the village of Obule. We love the Lord and desire to see Him transform people's lives through His Word and Spirit. We pray we can live out Paul's words, "Follow me as I follow Christ."

The Love of my Life

Josh & I have been married for 24 years now (June '99). I am so blessed to be married to man who follows after God's heart. He loves me selflessly.

Our Little Disciples

We are blessed to be the parents of Lydia (20), Grace (18), Luka (15), Emalai (11), and Makai (4)

Lydia Ayashea

Lydia is a beautiful young woman with a big heart. She also loves to read and write. She is a great big sister and has many friends in the village. She is amazing at learning Ateso and has become my translator.

Grace Mary

Gracie brings us lots of laughter. She is creative and love art and taking pictures. Grace loves children, especially her little brother!

Luka Paul

Luka is full of life and has a great attitude! You will often find Luka playing soccer with the boys or teaching them to play football. He is kind and a great big brother to his little brother and to the little neighbor boys.

Emalai Carolynn

Emalai is a joy. She loves to dance and sing and sings in Ateso . She keeps us smiling and appreciating the simple joys in life. Every moment she can she is at the neighbors playing village life with her friends.

Makai Samuel Lee

Makai is busy, always full speed, and a character. He is the center of attention in our home. Makai is dearly loved!
